Code of Joker Pocket Re:Birth (trading card game for smartphones by Sega Interactive) includes cards of multiple demons, including Demeter and Amon.However, the localization team decided to rename the game as Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. Some are used like regular skills that take up the protagonist's turn, while others are automatically used occasionally-the frequency of which is determined by the protagonist's Luck and other context-sensitive factors. Commander Skills have been added, being a protagonist-exclusive command that are unlocked by equipping the proper sub-app.It is available at the same time as all other sub-apps, but cannot be developed on Impossible.

The Visualizer apps now automatically map Dark Zones.The player can equip as many sub-apps as they so choose. A setting to speed up battle animations or skip them entirely.

Impossible is only available on New Game Plus and cannot be changed to another difficulty once selected. The introduction of difficulty modes: Casual, Standard, Expert and Impossible.The following QoL changes include but are not limited to: The game includes various Quality of Life changes and improvements, new artwork for the characters-including portraits for every crew member, new EX Missions, updated visuals for the dungeons, revamped UI, voice acting (Japanese only), animated cutscenes, a new dungeon revolving around a new character named Alex, three new endings related to Alex and the dungeon, as well as the following new demons: Zeus (New design)
